Arpie Mikaelian is a mother, pharmacist, baker, and self-described foodie who launched to share her love for decadent desserts, festive foods, and elegant events.

Arpie lives in Los Angeles, California and is an accomplished ambulatory care pharmacist who specializes in both diabetes and pain management. After earning her PharmD from Western University, she completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency program at Kaiser Permanente (TriCentral service area). To help empower patients and guide them towards a healthier lifestyle, she developed and taught a class about insulin use and education. She also developed and presented a CE course (continued education) on diabetes for Kaiser Permanente physicians. In 2016, she co-authored an academic paper comparing diabetes management models that was published in The California Journal of Health-System Pharmacy. She has received multiple honors for her work at Kaiser Permanente.

Arpie is a new mother of two kids who she adores with her entire heart – Vaughn (age 2) and Tevine (10 months). When she’s not changing diapers, planning activities or prepping meals, she loves to work out and watch her favorite shows. Her husband – Hrag – is a political consultant who works with elected officials and candidates across California.  When he’s not busy with campaigns, Hrag serves as Arpie’s official food and dessert taste tester.

Arpie launched on Mother's Day 2020 as a journal that explores baking, cooking, and décor.
